breathe

ever feel the cold of the air brush by the very bottom of your lungs? i don't mean when the wind blows right through each inhale & straight into your bones - not always much fun. but do you ever notice sometimes when the coolness of the air finds itself comfortably right inside your breath to open your chest just a bit more than usual? it's snowing & windy out now, but for a brief couple of days this week the entire city was connected somehow through a dusting of still & quiet snow. i think everyone stopped for a moment & remembered to breathe a little deeper.
